TWU COUNSELING CENTER

The TWU Counseling Center offers 12 free sessions to each student during the semester. The student can recieve counseling services from graduate students and be connected with a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

​NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group:

NAMI Connection is a weekly recovery support group for people living with mental illness in which people learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.

Our group meets at Blagg-Huey Library room 234, every other Tuesday and every other Wednesday  from 7-8:30 pm. It is open to students and members of the community. Exact dates can be found in the calendar.

DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES

Through TWU DSS, any student with a diagnosed psychiatric illness can recieve individualized services to fit their specific needs.

NAMI on Campus provides our campus with many special presentations throughout the year. These include NAMI National programs and guest speakers.

24 hour crisis line​​

The crisis line is staffed by trained, caring volunteers who are available to talk and listen. Our services are free and confidential.
